Learn how to handle a firearm in a safe and confident manner at Sarasota Safety & Firearm Training. Count on our Certified NRA Instructors to teach you how to handle and operate a variety of handguns including Revolvers and Semi-Automatic Pistols. Students will learn how to recognize and correct firearm malfunctions along with the safe and proper storage of Firearms and Ammunition. Florida State Statutes Chapter 776 - JUSTIFIABLE USE OF FORCE and Chapter 790 - WEAPONS AND FIREARMS are discussed in great detail when taking your Florida CWFL permit class.

Special Note: NRA Basic Pistol, NRA Personal Protection In The Home, and the Florida Concealed Carry Classes are Live Fire Classes.
Time and Location
Please note that all classes are by appointment only. Full payment is required at time of scheduling. Class fees are not refundable; however, you may reschedule a class up to two times within the next 6 months due to unscheduled events that may occur. Please provide a 48-hour notice for rescheduling classes.
We offer evening and weekend In-Home, Office, and Classroom Sessions. Evening and In-Home classes may entail an additional day for meeting the range requirements. Classroom instruction will be conducted in our office located in Osprey, Florida. The Live Fire Range portion will be performed at one of our local indoor ranges. NOTE: In-Home or Private Office Classes require 4 or more in attendance.
